Jessica Capote, MD, FAAP

Dr. Capote graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in May of 2001, and went on to complete her Pediatric Internship and Pediatric Residency at University of Miami’s Holtz Children’s Hospital in June 2004. Upon the completion of her residency, she was honored to receive the Dr. Charles Pegelow Award “For Compassion, Dedication, Excellence, and Commitment to the Care of Children.” She has been a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2005. She began her career with Manatee County Rural Health Service in July of 2004, and practiced there until October 2018, serving as Chief of Pediatrics from 2012-2017.

She is the extremely proud mother of two daughters:Emma, 17, and Luly,12, and an active participant in their numerous activities. She enjoys photography and reading in her spare time, and the product of these passions adorn this website and the office walls of Capote Pediatrics.


Gerardo Lopez, MD, FAAP

Dr. Lopez received his BS in science from the University of South Florida, and his Medical degree from The World Health University. He completed his pediatric training at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Pensacola, where he served as Chief Resident in 1991. He is a Board-Certified member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Florida Medical Association. He served as Chief of Pediatrics at Manatee Memorial Hospital from 2003-2006 and at Lakewood Ranch Hospital from 2014-2015. He has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for Florida State University College of Medicine and for University of South Florida’s Nurse Practitioner clinical training program. He has over 27 years of private practice experience and has been here in Bradenton providing care for children and families for the past 20 years.

Dr. Lopez enjoys taking care of his patients and playing with his grandchildren. His wife Marsha and their three children (now adults with their own families) are an integral part of his life and have helped him through the years to be able to provide exceptional care to his patients.

Laura Isola, APRN

Laura graduated from the University of South Florida in May 2001. She began her career as a nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at All Children’s Hospital caring for critically ill children. In 2009, Laura returned to obtain a master’s degree in nursing. At that time, she began work at ACH as a resource nurse, caring for children with diverse medical conditions throughout all areas of the hospital. After graduating with her APRN in 2011, Laura began her career as a Nurse Practitioner with Dr. Lopez at Pediatric Partners.

Laura loves spending time with her husband Eric and their 4 children: Lucas (13), Nathan (7), Blake (4), and Charlotte (2).

William Ramsey, LPN

Nurse Will grew up in the area, attending Pine View, New College, and the University of Florida, but spent the first half of his professional life as a chef and restaurateur in New York. He began his Pediatric Nursing career as a member of Tidewell Hospice’s children’s team in 2008. He has also worked in the home setting for chronically ill or injured children, and has been practicing in the office setting since 2012. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, sailing, and spending time with his large extended family.


Lydia Super, LPN

Lydia attended Manatee Technical College and has lived in the area for most of her life. She is currently enrolled in the RN program at Galen College of Nursing, and hopes to graduate in March 2020. She plans to continue with her education and aspires to become a Pediatric APRN. When not at work, she enjoys playing the piano and taking her son, Nyle (2), to the park.

Jordan Martin, MA

Ohio native Jordan Martin relocated to Sarasota in 2006. He graduated from Meridian College with an AA in Medical Administration and a sub-specialty in medical billing and coding. He began his career in the medical field with Community Health Systems where his responsibilities included financial support management and operating system implementation and support. His work there helped him realize an aptitude for direct patient involvement, and prompted him to return to Meridian College to complete their Medical Assistant AA program. He now has over two years’ experience in direct pediatric care and is proud to bring his administrative and clinical skills to Capote Pediatrics.

Mary Seybert, Office Manager

Mary has been in the medical field since 1995. With 20 years of office management experience, she is ready to help our patients and families with questions about billing, scheduling, insurance or medical records. Mary and Ed, her husband of 41 years, live in Bradenton. They enjoy going out on the boat with their son or visiting their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren in Charleston, SC.

Magen Pusateri, Receptionist

Magen is new to the medical field, and is thrilled to be working in a family-oriented environment again. Raised in Venice, FL, her parents owned a catering business and sandwich shop where she learned dedication, work ethic, and confidence. When the family business grew, she became their cookie baker; baking over 100 dozen delicious confections a week! She has worked in several customer service jobs, and is skilled in customer relations. Magen recently married the love of her life, Anthony, and together they are thrilled to be a loving aunt and uncle to Lydia and Charlotte, with another niece on the way. She spends her free time baking peanut butter cookies, brownies, and banana bread while "The Office" plays in the background.
